About Skim Girl

Hi, my name is Lauren and I am the founder of SkimGirl. From the first day I rode my board into the ocean 9 years ago, my love for the sport of skim boarding was realized.  The enthusiasm grew as I attended various competitions throughout the Northeast.  The only thing that was missing was the lack of recognition from the industry for the countless girls that make skim boarding their passion. Absent were any companies devoted solely to girls and their love for the sport.  It was at that point that my vision became a reality and SkimGirl was born.

So welcome to SkimGirl, the first skim company created from the passion and love for the sport of female skim boarding. We are proud to offer top of the line apparel and accessories that make you look as good as you ride. We hope you wear our clothing with the same excitement we had in creating our designs.
